I grabbed stormcaller off the shelf on a whim, being desperate to find another good book to read. I loved it. Just wondering if anyone can point me to other authors similar to Lloyd, David Gemmell or David Eddings?

Lou Anders says Joel Shepherd's Sasha is along the same lines. And maybe Blood of Ambrose, James Enge?

Steven Erikson's Malazan series should keep you busy a long while...
His books are bloody huge, but also very good.

my only problem with Brent Weeks was the fact that I loved the idea more than the actual novel. the book was good, but the idea was so good that I was distracted by constantly thinking how I'd have written it!
