erm, well i certainly wouldn't reject the idea out of hand. The main problem is that it's my job these days, so if I'm spending the time writing I kinda need to have an idea of where the rent money's coming from!

Don't think they spoke for about ten years after though, didn't they? It's a hard one to work out, very complicated relationship to have and writing's hard enough anyway!
