Hi Tom, thank you for your answer! Oh, that sounds really annoying to me... So I think I should give your original books a chance, even if I need to read one or all books again. I simply like your books and want to know how it goes on. But you won't tell us here in a year, that the last book won't be published in english as well right? :)

Hello! Glad to hear you love the books, that's especially good to hear given it's a translated edition. From what I've been told, there's little chance of a German translation of books 4 and 5. This is really annoying for me and as far as I can tell, the publisher's fault given they did very little with the books once they had bought the rights. I think it took something like 36 months for them to get around to translating it and by then they had given up on the project it seems - just doing what they needed to under the terms of the contract. So I think if the new series is successful they might have another go, but it would be several years from now if it ever did happen, sorry about that - I would have loved to see all five books in German too!

First of all, I relly love your books, otherwise I simple woudn't write here :-) Maybe you or anybody else can't help especially because randomhouse itself wrote me some time ago that no german translation of your forth book is planned so far, but my hope won't die. Yes some people will ask now, why I don't want to read the english one. That's simple. I am used to the wriing style of the translator and if I want to read the english one I need to read the 3 former books as well to get used to it. Yes I will read the book in english when there is no hope for a translation, but,.. Mario
